Highland Park Poetry welcomes Charlotte Digregorio & Amelia Cotter as our featured poets this month.

Charlotte Digregorio has authored seven books including Ripples of Air: Poems of Healing and Haiku and Senryu: A Simple Guide for All. Libraries, corporations, and hospitals host her poetry/art exhibit. Her blog features global writers: www.charlottedigregorio.wordpress.com. She’s won 65 poetry awards, has received four Pushcart Prize nominations, and translates poetry books from Italian into English.

Amelia Cotter is an author, poet, and storyteller with a special interest in the supernatural, history, and folklore. Amelia lives and writes in Chicago but is originally from Maryland, where she earned a degree in German and History from Hood College. Open mic immediately follows. Poets may read up to three poems (poem may not exceed one page in length).
