Café Lumière

Lumière is French for "light," and we've found the perfect way to brighten up your morning train commute! Café Lumière is a sweet and convenient way to get your morning coffee or snack before hopping on the Metra. Recently opened inside the Highland Park Central Train Station, Café Lumière offers a variety of coffee and beverage choices, as well as pre-packaged food and snacks Monday - Friday from 6 AM - 11:30 AM. 

Commuting by train is good for the environment; hopping on the train instead of in your car for medium-length distances can reduce your emissions by up to 80%. Treat yourself to something sweet from Café Lumière the next time you take the Metra (or bike or walk by the station!) for doing your part for the environment.
