Vintage Market

A Vintage Market is coming to the City of Highland Park’s alfresco entertainment space The Lot (523 Central) in downtown Highland Park on Sunday, October 23 from 11 AM-4 PM.  This free event welcomes lovers of antiques to the North Shore to scope out serious vintage style and celebrate clothes, jewelry, décor, furniture, art and music from the past. You’ll find a great mix of vintage in all categories including midcentury modern, vinyl, antiques, vintage home décor, art, lighting, memorabilia and so much more. Shoppers will also have the opportunity to get an appraisal on some of their own vintage items by Vintage Garage’s Founder, Melissa Sands, as well as Arthur Feldman of Arthur M. Feldman Judaica Gallery.

Sands is an expert at appraising vintage costume and estate jewelry while Feldman will offer appraisals on Judaica and other vintage items. They encourage attendees to bring items onsite, as long as they are “smaller than a breadbox.”

The Westerlees will entertain shoppers with their “down-home, old-timey, country flavor” music from 12-4 pm from the Main Stage while shoppers enjoy over 20 booths hosted by purveyors of fine vintage goods including: Baby Grandma Vintage, Blacksheep Vintage, Bunny & Rita, Collector’s Agency, Shytowngirl Vintage, ShopNov and more! Food and beverages will be available for purchase onsite courtesy of Bella Ru Catering, La Casa De Isaac & Moishe, Michael’s and Michael’s.
