Astra Coffee Roasters has called the Ravinia District of Highland Park home since April of 2022. Inside, you’ll find a variety of coffees, hot and cold drinks, pastries from Bennison’s in Evanston, coffee beans, and friendly staff.

All of Astra’s coffees are roasted in-house, and use only Grade I (the highest quality) beans. These beans are sourced from Cafe Femino, an organization of female coffee producers located in northern Peru. Cafe Femino has created a never-before-existing market for women coffee farmers throughout nine different countries; utilizing coffee as a means to end the cycle of poverty and provide positive social change in these communities.
