Indus Progressive Indian
Traditional Indian dining with a modern twist has arrived to Chicago’s North Shore! Opened in 2024 by the team behind the popular food stall Bhoomi (located at Chicago’s Washington Hall), Indus Progressive Indian offers a wide variety of elevated menu items: curries, masala, biryani, lamb, waygu, daal, and more… plus hand-selected wines and unique cocktails that pair perfectly with your dish.
The restaurant got its name from the Indus Valley, where ancient inhabitants were among some of the first humans to incorporate spices into their cooking; making food and eating about pleasure and experience rather than solely sustenance. Likewise, meals at Indus are about far more than abating hunger: take part in a total sensory experience incorporating sight, smell, taste, and sound.
